Currency records are used to store the current exchange rates for those companies who sell to customers in foreign countries. ManageMore will automatically convert the base currency to its equivalent value and print the amount on the transaction form based upon the currency code used in the specified customer's record. Each transaction is recorded with the historical conversion rate which was in effect at the time the transaction occurred.
Enter an alphanumeric code used to represent this currency. This code can then be chosen on a customer record, specifying the currency conversion to perform on that customer's transaction documents.
Enter the currency name to appear on documents to describe this currency. If desired, include the appropriate symbol by utilizing the Windows Character Map to copy the appropriate character, and paste it into this field.
Enter the current exchange rate for this currency to your native currency. This value may be changed as rates fluctuate, and will be stored on each transaction to reflect the rate in effect at the time the transaction occurred.
If desired, enter the symbol to represent this currency. This value is for internal program use, and will NOT be printed on any documents. If a symbol is desired to be printed, include the symbol as part of the Currency Name.

Q & A - Currencies
Q01. My customer pays in their home currency, but when they pay, the exchange rate is different, resulting in more or less due at the time of payment. How can I record this difference?
A01. You can create a payment method to represent any negative differences in exchange rate. For positive exchange rate differences, create an intangible SKU item. Then, after the payment is made, adjust the account by creating an invoice or payment for the exchange rate difference.
Q02. I don't see my question here. Where else can I get information?
