About Customer Pricing

Customer-Specific pricing allows you to set specialized pricing for a particular customer. This table will pre-define the price for this customer in the invoicing system, so that employees need not be concerned about any discounts or price drops needed to be made manually. You can easily set an override price or pricing discount based on an individual item, category, or department. This assigned price can be temporary or permanent for the selected customer.

Q & A - Customer Pricing

Q01.Can customer pricing be set up for all customers?
A01.It is possible, but not recommended. This customer pricing list must be read each time an invoice is made so the program will know if any adjustments need to be made at the time of the invoice. Placing information in on each customer could cause lag time when this table is being read, thus we do not recommend that pricing be done in this table for every customer. It is suggested that the pricing be done in other ways, such as price levels.

Q02.What if our company wants customer pricing to go on forever?
A02.If a customer pricing record is to last forever, simply do not enter an end date.

Q03.Can more than one customer pricing record be entered for each customer?
A03.There is no limit to the number of customer pricing records per customer.

Q04.I don't see my question here. Where else can I get information?
A04.Visit our website's Technical Support section.
