About E-Mail Removal
The "Do Not Send" list enables you to manage which customers would rather not receive certain types of e-mail from your company. This list is flexible, allowing people to be removed from all e-mail messages or just from select mailings. You can also set Auto Removal Rules to automatically add records to the Do Not Send list, based on e-mail received. For example, you can automatically a record when someone sends you a reply with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line.
Field by Field Help - Do Not Send screen E-Mail Address
Enter the e-mail address to which no mail should be sent.
Customer/Prospect No.
Enter or select the account number of the customer or prospect to which no mail should be sent.
E-Mail Category
Select which category of e-mail template to exclude from. If blank, the recipient will be excluded from all categories.
Template ID
Select which e-mail template ID this recipient should not receive. If blank, the recipient will be excluded from all templates.
Auto Removal Rules
Auto removal rules can be set up to automatically remove customers or prospects from e-mail lists. When people send you e-mail with a certain preset key phrase in the subject, the program will then remove that e-mail address from a particular e-mail list. You can set up rules for different e-mail templates, or individual e-mail categories.

Enter a particular e-mail address to monitor. Leave this blank to monitor all e-mail.
If Subject contains
Enter a key phrase that the subject must contain in order to remove this recipient from the e-mail template or category.
Remove from Category
Select the category of message templates that this e-mail address will be removed from.
Remove from Template
Enter or select the template that this e-mail address will be removed from.
