About NAICS Codes
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) utilizes a six digit code that organizes the categories of businesses. This uniform, industry-wide classification system has been designed as the index for statistical reporting of all economic activities of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. It is used in ManageMore to separate customers and/or prospects into different, standardized categories based upon the industry they conduct business in. You can simply enter or select the appropriate NAICS code when adding or editing a customer or prospect.

NAICS Code
Enter the six digit code that corresponds to the industry whose information is being entered.
Short Title
Enter a quick title that describes the industry whose information is being entered.
Alternate SIC
Enter the SIC code (or codes) that correspond to this NAICS code. Separate each value with a comma, for convenience purposes.
 | Prior to 1997, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code was used for grouping industries.

Q01. Why don't I see this table in my company?
A01. This table will be available if the preference to view NAICS Code is selected in the Customers and Prospects section of Setup...Options.
Q02. How can I search for a particular SIC Code?
A02. Use the IntelliQuery function to search for an Alternate SIC code which contains the SIC code you are looking for. The "contains" search is important here because the code may appear by itself, or as part of a list of SIC codes that apply to a given record.
