About Territories

Territories are codes used to group customers and prospects in a manner apart from location. You may wish to group customers and prospects by district or another geographic division (for example, having customers in the Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Miami branches all belonging to the Southeast territory). Alternatively, you might assign a salesperson to a territory as well, rather than only assigning them to a certain location.
